Bethel Health Care in collaboration with the AARP Connecticut Decide.Create.Share initiative will host "ling Longer, Living Smarter". This will be a series of four FREE informational workshops diesigned by and for the "boomer" generation to help 50 plus residents, particularly womne and their familes plan for the future. Experts in the fields of home safety, health, finance, and legal issues will be presenting four FREE workshops to help the "boomers" and their families find ways to meet common later life challenges and better prepare for the future they desire. Sessions will typically last 1 to 2 hours and will focus on topics including:
Living Fully: WIll I remain safe and active in my home and community in the years ahead?
Health: Can I manage my ehalth issues better by making simple changes in my lifestyle?
Savings: Will I be able to afford the extras I will need from my retirement plan?
Planning: Have I involved my family and/or informed them of my end-of-life-choices.
Home & Community: March 21st at 10am
Health: April 11th at 10am
Finances: May2nd at 4pm
Legal Issues: May 23 at 4pm
