Beer Chat: Abita Strawberry Harvest Lager

Flavored beer. It’s usually not my thing. I have been there and done that with pumpkin ales, blueberry brews, and such but I just can’t get into them. There was even an instance where as a joke, the Food Dudes brought a six pack of Seadog Raspberry to Lake George for a long weekend and were flat out disgusted by whatever that was (we won’t even call it beer).

Friday Flix: “Into Darkness”

Trekkies have been itching for a sequel to the 2009 reboot of the TV series, and finally that wish has been granted.

“Star Trek Into Darkness” follows the crew of the USS Enterprise as they are called back home and face a new foe from their own organization who causes destruction and leaves our world in jeopardy. Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) and crew must find and capture this new enemy before he can cause more damage.
