Boys & Girls Village Presented City of Milford Proclamation for Foster Care Month

Nationwide, more than 350,000 children and youth under the age of 18 are living in out-of-home care throughout the year. There are over 4,000 youth in the state of Connecticut awaiting placement in a foster home. Lousy Week in Store for Metro North Commuters

Milford residents who commute daily via Metro North Railroad will face significant inconvenience this week due to disruptions caused by Friday's train derailment and the ongoing repairs in its aftermath. Currently, there is no rail service in either direction between Bridgeport and Westport, and the only rail service between New Haven and Bridgeport is a shuttle service running express service between those two stations every 20 minutes.
