(Stamford, CT. NBC UNIVERSAL's MAURY, hosted by Maury Povich, tied it season high, 2.6 HH rating, for the week of 1/23/12. The 2.6 rating, which matches last week's number, is the highest rating the show has achieved since the week of 2/19/07, nearly 5 years.
MAURY's 2.6 tied for 3rd among all talkers.
Total Viewers: 3,710,000. +2% (3,710,000 vs. 3,631,000) vs. the prior week and +17% (3,710,000 vs. 3,166,000) vs. the same week last year. The most year-to-year growth among all the syndicated talk shows.
Additionally,. MAURY increased 18% (2.6 vs. 2.2) year-to-year, for the week of 1/23/12, compared to 1/24/11.
Also, MAURY continued its roll as the # 1 talker in the following key demos and was up week-to-week in all categories
§ Women 18-34: 1.9 Rating. (+6%) The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 35 weeks.
§ Women 18-49: 1.8 Rating. (+6%)The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 35 weeks.
§ Adults 18-34: 1.4 Rating. (+8%) The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 35 weeks.
§ Adults 18-49 1.4 Rating (+8%) The #1 syndicated talk show for the last 35 weeks
§ Women 25-54: 1.8 Rating. (+6%) (1.8 vs. 1.7) vs. the prior week and +20% (1.8 vs. 1.5) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show (tie with Dr. Phil). Sets a 2011-12 season high. Best week since the week of 2/12/07 (258 week high). Ties Dr. Phil for the most year-to-year growth among all the syndicated talk shows.
§ Adults 25-54: 1.4 Rating. +17% (1.4 vs. 1.2) vs. the same week last year. The #1 syndicated talk show. Ties the 2011-12 season high.
THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW tied its season high 1.6 HH rating (tied for 4th among all talkers) and increased 7% (1.6 vs. 1.5) year-to-year, for the week of 1/23/12 compared to 1/24/11.
