ER Alternatives for Bethel Residents

We are still waiting for an ER alternative right in Bethel, but Urgent Care of Connecticut has opened its fourth office in the area, in Ridgefield. The other offices are in Brookfield, Southbury and Norwalk.

No appointments are necessary. Urgent Care is a walk-in service to help people avoid the long waits and expense of emergency room visits on evenings and weekends. It is open 365 days per year, Mondays-Fridays, 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Services include walk-in school, sport, camp and DOT physicals, pre-operation evaluations, illnesses such as flu, strep, urinary tract infections, Lyme Disease, poison ivy (you name it), EKG's, vaccinations, stitches, splints, casts, IV fluids/medications.

They accept worker's compensation and most employee health programs and insurances.
