Two Publications Name Byrd's Books Best Bookstore in State

Byrd's Books in Bethel was recently named one of the top 10 Best Bookstores in Connecticut by Best of Connecticut and Connecticut Magazine! 

Elizabeth Georgian of Best of Connecticut writes, "This beautiful independent bookstore has been in business for over 30 years. Books on the Common draws in visitors with its bright window display and keeps them browsing for hours with their excellent selection. Like many of the stores on this list, Books on the Common provides staff picks to guide readers. For the little ones, there is story time every Thursday morning at 11 am. They also have a frequent buyer club for children’s and young adults books providing discounts to shoppers."

Also making the Best of Connecticut list, Barrett Bookstore in Darien and Books on the Common in Ridgefield.
