Bethel Woman Wins Martial Arts Title

Bethel Resident and Danbury Karate School Owner, Roxanne Doyon won 1st Place in Chicago. On January 25th, 2020 Roxanne Doyon, a 5th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do Placed 1st at the AKA Warrior Cup held in downtown Chicago.

Master Roxanne hasn't competed in over 15 years, but wanted to see if she still "had it".  Obviously she does, as she placed 1st beating out all the women in her division. In fact, she did so well, that she was immediately asked to join the AKA Senior Karate Team!  AKA is arguably the best Karate Team in the USA. 

Having accepted membership onto AKA, Master Roxanne will restart her competition career and perform at tournaments all over the country.
