Bethel movie-going is reimagined thanks to a local couple who unveil Greenwood Features

Bethel residents Jaimie and Frank Lockwood keep Bethel movie-going alive with Greenwood Features!

Locals and movie enthusiasts were devastated when Bethel Cinema, hit hard by the pandemic, closed in April of 2020. Thanks to Bethel residents Jaimie and Frank Lockwood for breathing new life into the building at 269 Greenwood Ave and reimagining the cinema as a movie "hub" and destination for families, friends, and local gatherings.

The cinema features 4 screens which show releases, classic films as well as independent features.

"Our long-term vision for the theater is being able to relax in a more comfortable theater environment while also providing a new space for events for family, work, and celebrations. We're starting by offering a wider range of features and expanding our concession menu with new options including beer, wine, and alcohol. We hope to bring back new energy to the downtown area in Bethel since the lights went out at the Bethel Cinema. We hope you come to enjoy the space and keep coming back to see the growth of the cinema!" Jaimie and Frank say.

The couple opened the doors to Greenwood Features last weekend. To find out what's on-screen and to purchase tickets, click here.

Looking for employment? Greenwood Features is currently looking for part-time managers. No previous theater experience is needed. Experience managing people is a plus. Above all else, we’re looking for friendly folks," owner Jaimie Lockwood announced.
