Join us as we welcome Bethel CT Pride and the CT Entomological Society for Moth Night! We'll set up light traps to draw in moths from the nearby forest to identify species and tag sightings in iNaturalist.
For ages 10+. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Weather permitting / no rain dates. Fully outdoors.
Bring a flashlight and dress for ticks and mosquitos, including masks! Masks are required. Otherwise, you WILL inhale moths- neither you nor the moth will enjoy this.
FREE, registration requested at newpondfarm.org, so we know how may light stations to set up!
