Metro North Changes Schedule for Tonight Due to Impending Storm

With the expectation of strong winds and heavy rain beginning late in the day on Thursday, December 24th and continuing overnight, Metro-North Railroad will be implementing an early shutdown of its services beginning around midnight. Metro-North employees are positioned to remove any downed trees that may fall across tracks, and attend to any weather-related challenges during the storm. Customers are advised not to take unnecessary travel. If you must travel, please check mta.info for the latest service updates and use extreme caution while navigating the system, especially on outdoor platforms and stairs.
