The Brewster Elementary PTA sent the attached letter dated March 2nd seeking donations to assist the family of the JFK student who passed away last weekend.
Kristin Cacal, PTA President states, "Despite a long, hard fight, his fragile heart could no longer hold on. His parents are now faced with the insurmountable task of laying their child to rest as well as caring for their infant daughter."
The PTA is asking the community to help donate cash, check or gift cards to help cover the funeral and day-to-day expenses that the family is facing.
Checks should be made payable directly to Beecher Funeral Home and gift cards can come from stores such as DeCicco's, Acme, Kohl's, Marshall's, etc. All donations can be sent to any of the Brewster Schools PTA/PTSA in an envelope labeled, Jimmy.
Ms. Cacal closes with, "Please help ease their burden - it will mean so much to Jimmy's family. Thank you in advance for your generosity and compassion."
