ACEkids Theatre Program will present William Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar”

The ACEkids Theatre Program will present William Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” at Pawling Central Middle School on Friday April 22 at 7 p.m. and at the Akin Library and Natural HIstory Museum on Saturday April 23 (Shakespeare’s birthday) at 2 p.m. Come enjoy Shakespeare’s timeless play about power, politics and magical omens. Admission is free.
The ACEkids Theatre Program, run by Camp Herrlich and hosted by the Pawling Central School District is now in its seventh year. In previous years, the program has produced Shakespeare productions with students in grades K-8. Three years ago, the program was expanded into two: the Shakespeare program is now located at Pawling Central Middle School and includes students in grades 5-8, and a musical theatre program for students in grades K-4 is now at the elementary school. Starting in October, the students attend weekly after-school classes that culminate in full-scale productions in the spring.
“Julius Caesar” is directed by Amy Emke, and stage managed by Hannah McCoy. The cast includes Farrell Hoffman, Ditte Isak, Eliza Ross, Daniella Riggio, Giselle “Gigi” Riggio, Isabella Galiano, Samantha DeMarta, Julianna Perucci, and Jacob Voudren as “Julius Caesar.”
