Tickets are on sale for Brewster High School’s fall drama production of Almost, Maine, a romantic comedy by John Cariani. The cast will put on three performances next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm. The show’s cast features seniors Crystal Colon, Emily Gonzalez, Ryan Hecht, Michael Malanga, Julian Nova and Sebastian Melchiori, juniors Taylor Byrne, Megan Campbell, Erin Clark, David DiMinno, Antoinette Guerriero, Cecilia Guida, Erin Kirkpatrick, Max Likens, Mili Gonzalez and Erin Vaughan, sophomores Sarah Borsari, Cati Conway, Grace Curley, Tommy Froessel, and freshmen Charlie Fitzpatrick, RJ Frankenberry, Aaron Lurin, and Grace Stathatos.

The show takes the audience through a series of relationships, new and old. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost's residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night's dream. Students have had a blast playing a variety characters in the show. Megan Campbell, a BHS junior who plays “Deena” in the show and also takes on the position of student director explains, “Working on this show has been such a new and exciting process for all the actors involved as we've never gotten to work on a show like this before. It's helped us all learn so much as actors and beyond the stage as well. The show is truly amazing and it showcases all of our BHS talent!" Junior Max Likens adds, "It's been really fun to perform alongside such a talented cast, and playing this character has been a fun acting challenge for me.”

Performances take place on November 3, 4 & 5 at 7:30pm at the Brewster High School Performing Arts Center: 50 Foggintown Rd, Brewster, NY. Make sure you buy your tickets online in advance to get the $12 discount price. General admission tickets cost $15 at the door. You can purchase tickets online at www.BrewsterSchools.org.
