Please be advised that due to the dry conditions that exist due to lack of rain in Putnam County, I am ordering that all OPEN BURNING be banned until further notice. This notice applies to the open burning of brush and branches. It does not apply to small campfires and patio fire pits. Any department dispatched to an open burn should extinguish the fire and advise the home owner of the ban.
