ACEkids Musical Theatre Program in it's 8th Year

The ACEkids Musical Theatre Program presented by Camp Herrlich once again is producing high-quality educational theater programs for our community!  ACEkids, under the direction of Amy Emke, a local actress and director, proudly presented “Spamalot: Young @ Part edition” at Pawling Middle School, “Disney’s Aladdin Kids” at Pawling Elementary School, and for the first time in the Carmel School District produced a musical theater recital at Kent Elementary School.  The final ACEkids production, a musical theater recital, will be at Matthew Paterson Elementary School on Friday May 12th.  

The ACEkids Theatre Program, run by Camp Herrlich and hosted by the Pawling and Carmel Central School Districts, is now in its eighth year. Starting in October, the students attend weekly after-school classes that culminate in a full-scale production or recital in the spring. The program is for students in grades K-8, and stages productions at Pawling Elementary School, Kent Elementary School, Matthew Paterson Elementary School, and Pawling Central Middle School each year.  Over 50 children participated in the programs this year, learning all about acting, singing, dancing, and how to be part of a supportive cast.  Look out for registration information for 2017-2018 programs in September!

If you would like to attend this Friday’s production, it will be at Matthew Paterson Elementary School in Patterson, NY at 7pm.  Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted.  (Suggested donation: $5).  The audience is invited to join the cast for a party directly after the show.
