Grant/Scholarship/Community Impact Awards - Now Accepting Applications
First Baptist Church-Brewster (FBC-Brewster) is proud to introduce its groundbreaking #ForBrewster Grant/Scholarship Program, designed to invest in the future of the Brewster community. This program aims to provide financial support and resources to individuals, high school seniors, and non-profit organizations who are dedicated to making a positive impact within Brewster and its surrounding areas.
Committed to supporting missions within the local community, FBC-Brewster allocated 10% of a recent building sale to fund these awards this year, and in years to come.
The FBC-Brewster #ForBrewster Grant and Scholarship Program consists of three distinct components, each with a specific focus to promote community welfare:
Scholarship for Local High School Seniors: FBC-Brewster recognizes the importance of education and is delighted to offer a scholarship program exclusively for local high school seniors. This scholarship will assist them in pursuing their academic dreams, empowering them to become strong community leaders.
Grant Program for Community Initiatives: FBC-Brewster understands that impactful change can come from individuals of all ages. To fuel community-centered projects, the Grant Program will include awards for both children and adults who have inspiring ideas to benefit the local community. By encouraging innovation and community engagement, FBC-Brewster aims to cultivate a sense of civic responsibility among residents of all ages.
Grant Program for Local Non-Profits: As part of its commitment to supporting local organizations, FBC-Brewster is launching a dedicated grant program for non-profit organizations within the community. This program will provide vital financial resources to enable these organizations to continue their essential work in serving those in need.
Funding for the Grant/Scholarship Program is made possible through FBC-Brewster's commitment to social responsibility. By allocating 10% of its tithing and revenue specifically to missions, the church affirms its dedication to uplifting the community and its inhabitants.
Award recipients under this program will have the honor of receiving their grants and scholarships during a recognized worship service. In addition, recipients will be encouraged to share information about their cause and the impact they aim to create within the congregation. This collective celebration serves to foster a sense of unity, inspire others, and ignite a passion for community service.
FBC-Brewster invites all eligible individuals, high school seniors, and non-profit organizations within the area to participate in the Grant/Scholarship Program. Together, we can make a significant difference and shape a stronger future for the Brewster community.
