The Putnam County Department of Health is offering FREE MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine for:   

·        Adults born on or after 1/1/1957, if not previously vaccinated

·        Adults vaccinated between 1963 and 1967 with a less effective vaccine

  • Friday, June 20, 2025, from 9:30am - 12:00pm at St John’s Food Pantry, 221 East Lake Boulevard Mahopac. (Walk-ins welcome)
  • Friday, June 20, 2025, from 1:30pm - 2:30pm at the Putnam County Department of Health, 1 Geneva Road Brewster. (Call for an appointment)
  • Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Vaccines for Adults Clinic, 121 Main Street Brewster. (Walk-ins welcome)


If you have questions about your measles immunity, please contact your healthcare provider. Individuals without a healthcare provider can call the health department at 845-808-1390 to speak with a nurse. Adults born before 1957 are generally considered immune due to likely prior exposure.

The MMR vaccine is available at regularly scheduled health department clinics. Please call for an appointment. Vaccine may also be available through your healthcare provider or pharmacy with insurance.
