SPHERE Inc.'s Board of Directors has welcomed two new Board Members, Caitlin Schneider of Brookfield, CT and Emily G. Pambianchi, of Ridgefield, CT.
"SPHERE is fortunate to have the support and various experience of our Board members with us as we move into our next phase of growth," says SPHERE President and Board Chairman, Lori Berisford. "Their dedication enhances our mission to enrich and enhance the lives of adults with disabilities through education, recreation, and the arts while fostering and nurturing relationships between our members and our communities."
SPHERE is pleased to introduce Caitlin Schneider. Caitlin is a secondary Special Education teacher in New Milford, CT. SHE studied Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and graduated with her BSA in History, then attended Manhattanville College and earned her MPS in Education/Special Education. Years ago, alongside her mom and sister, she started volunteering for SPHERE'S Gala.
Caitlin has been an active volunteer for the last three years, within the Music and Performing Arts program, SPHERE Squad program, and SPHERE group events. She now leads SPHERE Squad and continues to enjoy being involved with the dynamic group planning events. Caitlin has the firsthand pleasure of experiencing the creativity and joyfulness of the members. She lives in Brookfield, CT with her fiancé, Dan!
Upon her return to Ridgefield, Emily began volunteering with SPHERE and joined the Board from 2010-2014. She won the Ridgefield Arts Council's "Behind the Scenes" Award for her work with SPHERE in 2013. Emily opened her own company, Social Graces Communications, in 2017 and started running SPHERE's communication strategy in 2018. She is a member of the Ridgefield Prevention Council and works with a variety of non-profits and small businesses as their communications consultant.
