On Saturday, October 7th, we're hosting an Escape Room Team Challenge for adults, where two teams will compete to see who can escape first.
On Tuesday, October 10th, teens and adults are invited to a scary-themed poetry workshop: Ghost Lines with local author Ryan Meyer. Hear Ryan’s poems and learn to write your own. We'll also have the first meeting of our Ukulele Club! Learn the basics and support your fellow musicians. Bring your uke or use one of ours.
Teens are invited every Wednesday in October to the Dungeons and Dragons Haunted Manor, an original adventure sure to send shivers up your spine.
On Friday the 13th, don’t miss out on our Sunset Cinema, where we'll be watching the original Ghostbusters movie! Bring your dinner, chairs, and blankets, or grab a snack or dinner from the JJ Stacks Food Truck!
On Tuesday, October 31st, our Storytime Adventures will be all about Halloween. Costumes are encouraged for all!
Finally, October is Friends of the Library Appreciation Month. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful Friends group. They work hard to provide us with funding that helps us with programming and events. The Friends recently purchased the ukuleles that allowed us to start the above-mentioned Ukulele Club. They are the best Friends group in the world!
While the building is closed, you can access our catalog and digital materials online.
