Fireworks Day in Kent

The Town of Kent will have its Fireworks Day in celebration of the July 4th holiday this Saturday June 29th. The fireworks are scheduled for approximately 9:15 pm. Prior to that, there are several other activities planned such as the Backyard Olympics which takes place from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm at Ryans Park and consists of field day style games. At 12:30 pm there will be a Bike Parade at the Kent Library.

 

Then at 6:00 pm, The Arts on the Lake Music Fest and the Town of Kent Fireworks help start off the summer. Music starts at 6:00 pm with local bands.

 

At 7 pm, "The Two of Us" will be performing a Beatles Tribute on the lawn next to Lake Carmel. Mike and George have been playing together for years.  The Music is provided by Arts on the Lake on a pay-as you wish basis. The Fireworks over Lake Carmel begin around 9:15 m. Enjoy the music and fireworks and don't forget to pack your picnic dinners some lawn chairs or blankets and drinks.
