Jeanne Buck, the Director of the Reed Memorial Library in Carmel for over 10 years announced via an email to Library patrons that she will retire at the end of this week.
In the email she stated:
"For over ten years I have loved putting together this e-letter, sharing news of building projects and progress reports, updates during the pandemic, notice of hundreds and hundreds of library programs, helpful hints and interesting links, news of new materials, snow day closings, library history, and the momentous news when the Reed Memorial Library District was created. After twenty-three years it is time to retire and putting together this e-letter is one of the many things I will miss. I will miss our beautiful library building and the kind and caring staff that works in it. I will miss hearing from you – questions, compliments, requests, and most of all hearing from so many of you over the years that the library has made a difference in your life. It has been a privilege to be a part of this very special community.
Great things are ahead for Reed Library!"
