Stabbing At Hudson Valley Airsoft Located On Paladin Center Campus

On January 28, 2024 shortly before 3PM, Town of Carmel Police were notified by Putnam County 911 on a report of a stabbing at Hudson Valley Airsoft, located on the Paladin Center Campus on Seminary Hill Road in the Town of Carmel. 

Arriving Putnam County Sheriff's Office Deputies and Carmel Police Officers quickly detained a suspect, a 20 year old male from Bedford Hills, NY. The victim was identified as a 33 year old male from Mount Vernon, NY. Preliminary investigation determined the incident occurred after a dispute between the two males during an airsoft game. Both males were transported by ambulance to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries. 

As this is still an active investigation by Carmel Police Detectives, names of those involved are not being released at this time. Additional information will be released as it becomes available. 

This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the community. The sole suspect is in custody.
