Bimbo Bakeries USA in Greenwich Help Head Start Preschool
Nearly three dozen employees of Bimbo Bakeries USA in Greenwich rolled up their sleeves and strapped on their tool belts on April 30 to help the children at Family Centers’ Greenwich Head Start preschool.
As part of its Good Neighbor Project, the Bimbo USA team cleaned up the school’s play area and surrounding grounds. The company also donated nearly $5,000, which was used to purchase a brand-new storage shed, several tricycles and various outdoor toys.
This was the second time Bimbo USA chose Family Centers as its beneficiary of the Good Neighbor Project. In 2013, the company conducted a similar project at Family Centers Gateway Preschool located at 2 Chapel Street in Greenwich.
