The Danbury Music Centre invites you to a free recital on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 8:00pm in the Marian Anderson Recital Hall at 256 Main Street, Danbury.

Christine Howlett, soprano, Patrick Wood Uribe, violin, and Holly Chatham, piano, come together to perform contemporary music as well as the sublime repertoire of French composers Debussy, Fauré, and Henri Vieuxtemps.   The recital will include a varied selection of musical styles by contemporary composers Carson Cooman, Leonard Enns, Elizabeth Haskins, Tarik O'Regan, Richard Wilson, and Donald Waxman.

The trio recently released their debut recording, "Love Raise Your Voice: Music for Soprano, Violin, and Piano" on MSR Classics.

Christine R. Howlett is the Music Director and Conductor of the Danbury Concert Chorus and is Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities at Vassar College where she conducts the Vassar College Women’s Chorus, the Vassar Choir, and teaches music theory and voice. Patrick Wood Uribe is Assistant Professor of Music at Boston College. Holly Chatham is Vocal Coach and Pianist/Early Keyboardist in the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University.
