Kimberly Morgan to Lead United Way

The United Way of Western Connecticut (UWWC) Board of Directors announced on July 12 that Kimberly Morgan of New Fairfield, CT has been named Chief Executive Officer.
Morgan was chosen from 130 applicants following a nationwide search. "We received many highly qualified applicants for this position over the last five months, from both the non-profit and for-profit sectors," said Jim Schmotter, President of Western Connecticut State University and Chair of the Executive Search Committee. "With each round of applicant reviews and interviews, Kim Morgan stood out. In addition to her years of experience, Kim has a deep knowledge of the needs in our community. She's a visionary leader with the strategic insight to lead this organization into the future, and above all, a true passion for the work of United Way."
