NBA Games on Christmas Day

The Yule Log and the Disney Christmas Day Parade aren't the only television events happening on December 25. The Yule Log hardly counts as an event anyway. For NBA heads, there are five televised games going on that begin at noon and run, well, pretty much all day and night.

Highlighted games are most definitely last year's Finals rematch between the defending champion Heat and the Thunder, and the Lakers, who have been back to winning as of late (four game winning streak), as they welcome the red hot Knicks.

Here is the NBA schedule for Christmas day:

• Boston Celtics at Brooklyn Nets 12 p.m. YES/ESPN
• New York Knicks at L.A. Lakers 3 p.m. ABC
• Oklahoma City Thunder at Miami Heat 5:30 p.m. ABC
• Houston Rockets at Chicago Bulls 8 p.m. ESPN
• Denver Nuggets at L.A. Clippers 10:30 p.m. ESPN
