World's First Smart Fork

What does neurobiology, good health and a mobile app have in common? It's the HAPIfork, ® made by HAPILABS. The fork is actually "tracking behaviors" according to Fabrice Boutain, CEO and founder.

"Take control of your happiness, health and fitness" said Boutain.

He claims the fork can improve eating habits by encouraging people to "eat slowly and enjoy food" ultimately gaining health benefits like weight loss. Eating too fast can cause digestive problems, gastric reflex and weight gain.

The fork is able to monitor how many servings per minute, per meal and duration between each fork serving. It will also gently vibrate to remind you if you're eating too fast.

The HAPIfork also has a HAPIbutton,® which monitors and measures your HAPImoments. HAPILABS combines the science of neurobiology and the digital world.

In HAPIscience, people secrete serotonin in their brains when happy. So HAPIfork users are encouraged to press the HAPIbutton when they are happy, thereby creating more serotonin levels.

The mobile app allows HAPIfork owners to send pictures and reminders of particularly happy moments in their lives. You can assess and manage all data, along with fitness activities on all your devices.

HapiLabs has two other devices, the HAPItrack ® for physical activity and the HAPIwatch ® to monitor sleep patterns.

The HAPIfork will be offered in February on Kick Starter. The price is $99.00 and will be sold in the United States this spring.
