Overdue materials at home? Check out our Food for Fines Program!
Do you have library materials lurking in your closets, under beds or on your book or movie shelves accumulating fines? We're anxious to get the materials back so others can enjoy them. Return them to the library between Monday, April 22 through Sunday, April 28, along with a donation of canned food (no expired dates) and we'll erase your fines for that item. Book, DVD and CD Donations Wanted! Now that you've cleared your shelves and closets of library materials, perhaps you have some items you haven't read or used for a while that you'd like to donate to the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library for their book sales? The FRIENDS are having a special Collection Day on Saturday, April 20 at 30 Main Street (just a ½ mile from the library) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To make it easy, volunteers will be ready to take the boxes from your car. See flier for directions. So do a little spring cleaning this week and help the FRIENDS of the Danbury Library out! The FRIENDS utilize the proceeds from their book sales to enhance library services and programs. Thank you!
