Announcing the Grand Opening of LesserEvil in Danbury! LesserEvil snacks are actually good for you!

LesserEvil had their grand opening ribbon cutting ceromony with Mayor Mark Boughton on Wednesday, May 29 at 1 p.m. This commemorated their newly opened popcorn facility in Danbury. LesserEvil is synonymous for healthy snacks and they gave out bags of their healthy organic popcorn and chips to all who came for this event. Charles Coristine is the President and CEO. Their headquarters are in Wilton and their other products are made in New Jersey.

LesserEvil Healthy Brands was founded in 2004 with a mission to create natural, healthier snack food than many other snack foods on the market. Today they continue to separate themselves from many new natural snacks and have evolved their goal to be the first snack food company in the chip aisle that is actually good for you. LesserEvil produces quality in everything they do.

They use black beans and organic popcorn as bases. They believe in non-genetically sourced materials and have moved towards sourcing as much organic material as possible. They are also moving away from refined sugar and believe in lower glycemic nutrition. Health comes from the inside out and sharing quality natural foods that taste good should be a decision available to everyone.

You'd be happy to know that you don't have to feel guilty when you eat these snacks. They have been recognized as Hope360's 5 most nutrient dense foods, called "best new product" at Expo East and Haddon House shows and Dr Oz's Ultimate Snack.

You can find these healthy, tasty snacks at Stop & Shop, ShopRite, Fairway, Stew Leonards, Chamomille Natural Food Market and Whole Foods to mention a few Danbury stores. To read more about the company click here.
