Acclaimed Documentary, Finding Kind, at the Palace Danbury

FINDING KIND, a movement and a documentary, on Thursday, October 17, at 7 p.m. at the Palace Danbury.

In light of October being "Bullying Awareness Month," Housatonic Valley Coalition Against Substance Abuse (HVCASA) is proud to present the film FINDING KIND.

FINDING KIND is a documentary that follows two girls as they embark on a 10,000 mile, cross country journey interviewing hundreds about about some of the dark times we can find ourselves in and how people treat one another. Filmmakers Lauren Parsekian and Molly Thompson include interviews with respected experts and authors in the fields of psychology, education, and the interrelationships of women and girls. The spirit of transformation through kindness, mutual respect and honest conversation is the driving force behind their non-profit and documentary film.

Seating is general admission and all tickets at $5.

For more information and reservations, please call, 203-743-7741, or CLICK HERE to buy tickets online.

Editor's Note:  Although I have not seen Finding Kind, I have heard nothing but praise for the film, the filmmakers and the movement.
