Danbury's Microsoft Store to Host April & May Workshops

This year, the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut earmarked nurturing stronger, hands-on relationships between business and the arts as a primary goal. To that end, the Cultural Alliance continues CreativeNotebook, a new and extensive series of practical skill development workshops. In support, Microsoft has donated $6,000 to the Cultural Alliance.

In response, Lisa Scails, Executive Director of the Cultural  Alliance of Western Connecticut, says "Our collaboration with the Microsoft Store underscores the Cultural Alliance's key purpose to actively engage relationships between business and the arts. Providing artists and entrepreneurs - working together - with tools for self-actualization and empowerment leads to achievement and success, which is what our shared efforts are all about. Our  thanks to Randall Scofield, business specialist at the Microsoft Store, for his enthusiasm and encouragement."

Among small business leaders, the Cultural Alliance is actively encouraging creative entrepreneurs to participate in these free workshops. Upcoming in April and May, the Microsoft Store will host workshops at its location in Danbury Fair Mall, 7 Backus Avenue, Danbury, each Tuesday, beginning on April 3rd. Registration for all workshops is required on line at http://bit.ly/CAWC-EVENTS  or call (203) 798 0760, email info@cawct.org
