DANBURY, CT - Danbury Director of Recreation Shaun Ratchford and Mayor Roberto Alves are thrilled to announce the return of in-house summer camp for the 2025 season! Camps will be held at King Street Primary School, Broadview Middle School, and Rogers Park Middle School, offering a vibrant and engaging experience for children across the community from elementary to middle school ages.
“Bringing summer camp back under the City’s management provides us with the unique opportunity to deliver high-quality programming while maximizing the use of our school and playground facilities,” said Mayor Alves. “We’ve invested millions of dollars into our youth recreational facilities, and now we’re bringing back our annual program to give Danbury kids and parents a safe and affordable experience this summer.”
Danbury Summer Camp will offer a diverse range of activities, including arts and crafts, sports, and recreational games, all designed to spark creativity, foster teamwork, and promote personal growth. The programs will run from July 7 to August 8, and are open to students entering grades 1 through 8. Sessions will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Rogers Park and King Street Primary for elementary school ages, and from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM at Broadview Middle School for middle school ages.
