I am honored to be this year’s co-chair alongside the wonderful Jill Rae of Jill Rae Designs and thankful for the opportunity to serve this wonderful organization. On a mission to build, renovate and repair houses to provide affordable homes for under-served working families in western Fairfield and Litchfield Counties, the Housatonic Habitat for Humanity is built on the kindness of strangers and communities.
Relying on a primarily volunteer base and multiple fundraising programs including ReStore and Cars For Homes, and encouraging homeownership through programs like Homebuyer Workshop, Housatonic Habitat for Humanity has helped over 500 families, and built 34 homes over the last 30 years.
