
Darien, CT- On Saturday March 16, 2013 at approximately 2:00pm the Darien Police Department received a report that a subject was attempting to purchase merchandise at CVS Pharmacy, 984 Post Rd, using a fraudulent credit card. The subject then exited the store and attempted to flee the area in a red Nissan Altima. An officer responding to the incident was able to locate and stop the described vehicle.
Further investigation revealed that the three occupants of the vehicle were from New York City and were in possession of numerous fraudulent or stolen credit cards and a substantial amount of cash. They were subsequently taken into custody for various Felony and Misdemeanor charges:

Shaquell D. Caldwell, age 22, of 57th Ave. Corona, NY
Charges:
· 1 Count(s) - 53a-48 to 53a-128d– Conspiracy to Unlawful Use of a Credit Card
· 1 Count(s) - 53a-48 to 53a-125b – Conspiracy to Larceny 6th
All three subjects posted $25,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court at 10:00am on March 26, 2013.
