Sponsors needed for Alzheimer’s book

The Alzheimer’s Association’s CT Chapter is pleased to announce its first program book in support of the upcoming Fairfield County Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, October 4, 9 AM, at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk.

They are seeking supporters and sponsors to take out advertisements in the book that will be distributed to the more than two thousand participants expected to attend this year. The Walk is the largest fundraiser in support of people living with Alzheimer’s disease. Individuals can place an ad in memory or in honor of a loved one, or businesses can take out an ad to promote their goods and services, while also helping to raise awareness and bring in much needed funding to those affected.  

Laurel Ridge Health Care Center, a skilled nursing center with a memory care unit, has been an avid supporter and resource both at the Regional and State levels, and will be managing the organization and publication of the book this year. 

All tax-deductible proceeds will go directly to the Association’s CT Chapter to further the cause by providing care and support to CT residents, and provide the much needed funds for research to find a cure.
