Why Small Businesses Matter
Shop small, do big things for your community
Why Small Businesses Matter puts a spotlight on the local merchants who donate their time, talent, goods, and services for the betterment of our community. The shop local movement spreads virally as local businesses who are “tagged” have the opportunity to share their story!
You're IT Stone Blue Capital!
Four questions with Gregory Makela, founder of Stone Blue Capital.
Why did you start your business?
After several years at a large global Investment Bank, I decided it was time to paint my own masterpiece.
What is your best-selling product/service?
Clients appreciate our adaptive, risk-managed approach to investing. Alternative Income strategies are a key component of our success.
How many local businesses do you use to support your business (products and services) and can you name them?
Hayvn Co-working in Darien is a fantastic resource for small businesses. It's my home office away from home. Efficient, professional, and super-friendly people. Plus, a shout to all the local restauranteurs - I can be found at Rowayton Seafood, Tequila Mockingbird, and 1020 for their generous hospitality.
Yes, every day! A constant work in progress, so grateful for the opportunity to evolve.
