At approximately 10:30 PM on March 18th we received a complaint from a female resident who had just moved into a second floor apartment at 27 Greenwood Ave with her husband. Just prior to contacting the police, the female observed the front door knob move as if someone was attempting to enter the apartment however entry could not be gained as the door was locked. When she opened the door to determine what was going on she was confronted by a person she did not know and was later determined to be Dunlap.
According to the victim, he began yelling and swearing at her and not making any sense. He then forcibly grabbed her by the right arm and slammed her into the stairwell wall. She then ran back into her apartment and called the police. When her husband exited the apartment to come to his wife’s assistance, Dunlap had already gone back into his apartment. The victim incurred a large abrasion to the right arm, but refused medical attention. When officers confronted Dunlap he appeared intoxicated and kept changing his story as to what had transpired. He could offer no plausible explanation and was placed under arrest.
