
Call for Vendors! The Darien Community Association Announces Its Inaugural Merry Meadowlands: A Holiday Home and Market
DARIEN, CT (September 10, 2024)—The Darien Community Association (DCA) today announced that it is looking for local artisans, designers and makers for its inaugural fundraising event called Merry Meadowlands: A Holiday Home and Market on Thursday, December 5, 2024. Applications are due Friday, September 20th at 5pm.
As part of The 203 Project: A Sustainable Showhouse presented by Connecticut Cottages & Gardens in March 2024, the historic Meadowlands mansion was refreshed and redesigned, which led the community to have a renewed interest in the DCA. “We want to continue this positive momentum in our community through the end of the year with Merry Meadowlands,” said Erin Noonan, executive director at the DCA. The first floor of the historic mansion will be decorated for the holidays and will feature a holiday market with products from local artisans, designers and retailers, a Nutcracker-themed cafe, an evening “sip and shop” and special surprises from the DCA Thrift Shop.

- Vendors will be notified by Tuesday, September 24th if they have been accepted. Completion of the application does not mean that you are accepted.
