Community policing in ACTION! Yesterday, Darien officers were honored to be invited by the students and staff of Hindley Elementary School to participate in “National World Read Aloud Day!”
World Read Aloud Day is celebrated on the First Wednesday in February and the event is dedicated not just to reading, but to the art and practice of reading aloud. Our officers had an absolutely fantastic time not only reading to all of the grades but getting to know the students and hearing all of their fun stories!
