Dive into creativity and paint a little piece of paradise with A New Beginning, a vibrant acrylic painting workshop with artist Cherie Blickenstaff. In this colorful underwater scene, students will paint a charming baby sea turtle gliding through crystal-clear tropical waters. Cherie will guide you through techniques for creating a luminous turquoise ocean, adding dimension and texture to the turtle’s shell, and building depth with layers of greens, blues, and earthy tones. You’ll explore blending, layering, highlighting, and creating movement in the water, including playful bubbles and rays of sunlight filtering through the surface. A turtle template will be provided, making this workshop approachable for artists of all experience levels. No previous painting experience is necessary. All materials are provided—just bring your creativity and get ready to paint your own little piece of paradise!
