At the Banyan Dance Festival, experience the dynamic teaching style and creative perspective of internationally recognized choreographer Loni Landon as she leads company class for the Banyan Dance Company. This unique observation opportunity offers insight into the physicality, artistry, and discipline required of today's professional dancers. Following class, guests are invited to engage with the artist during an informal talkback. Schedule 9:30 a.m. — Company Class 10:45 a.m. — Informal Talkback About Banyan Dance Festival: Banyan Dance Festival was created through a partnership between Natural Movers Foundation and GroundedWPB. Designed to strengthen South Florida’s dance ecosystem, the week-long festival (happening August 3-8, 2026 throughout West Palm Beach) brings together professional artists, aspiring dancers, choreographers, and community members through performances, training opportunities, creative development, and public engagement experiences. Festival faculty and featured artists include internationally recognized choreographers and educators Sean Aaron Carmon, Babatunji, and Loni Landon, alongside other local, national, and international artists participating throughout the week. The Festival is funded in part by the Cultural Council for Palm Beach County through its Bright Ideas Sponsorship.
