Ana Nevares is a former state-certified special education teacher who has served as a FAAST Regional Coordinator for the past 15 years. She has extensive experience training families, educators, rehabilitation professionals, and individuals with disabilities on assistive technology solutions that support education, employment, independent living, and community participation.

About FAAST The Florida Alliance for Assistive Services and Technology (FAAST) is Florida's federally funded Assistive Technology Program. FAAST's mission is to improve the quality of life for Floridians of all ages and abilities by increasing access to assistive technology through:
• Device demonstrations • Hands-on trainings • Short-term device loans • Information and technical assistance • Resources that promote independence in education, employment, daily living, and community life
FAAST operates demonstration centers throughout Florida, with the University of Miami Mailman Center for Child Development serving the South Florida and Broward region. Best of all, all FAAST services are provided free of charge to Florida residents.
