Greg Hatzis Appointed New Headmaster at Fairfield Ludlowe High School

Superintendent of Schools David G. Title announced that, effective July 1, 2012, Mr. Greg Hatzis will assume the position of Headmaster at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. He succeeds Dr. Vanessa Reale.
 
Mr. Hatzis is currently the Principal at Fairfield Woods Middle School and has served in this position since 2007. Mr. Hatzis served as a Housemaster at both Fairfield Ludlowe High School and Fairfield Warde High School prior to his promotion to Principal at Fairfield Woods. He began his career in Fairfield in 2002 as the District Instructional Improvement Teacher. Prior to joining the team in Fairfield, Mr. Hatzis was a Social Studies teacher at New Canaan High School.
 
Greg brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the district, students, staff and programs. He is a highly motivated, strong leader, who will be an asset to the Fairfield Ludlowe High School community.
 
Recruitment efforts to find a new Principal for Fairfield Woods Middle School will begin shortly. A posting for this position will go out next week seeking internal candidates. Based on the response to that internal posting, Title will determine next steps and communicate them to the school and PTA communities.
 
With the new Headmaster named, Title will recruit and select a Housemaster for Webster House and a Director of Pupil Services for Fairfield Ludlowe High School.
