FAIRFIELD, CONN -- On Friday, March 4th, Near & Far Aid will host its 21st Annual Spring Gala to raise funds granted by the charity to Fairfield County’s poverty-fighting organizations. As always, the event will take place at the flagship Mitchells store in Westport and promises to be a spectacular evening of fashion, dancing and fun. As part of the ongoing theme of Voices of Hope, the gala will also focus on the stories of the individuals served and the agencies that Near & Far Aid funds throughout the year.
“The Near & Far Aid Gala at Mitchells is going to be a fabulous party this year with a great band, dancing, delicious food and drinks and the best auction anywhere," said Joan Panagos, President of Near & Far Aid. “It is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the money we raise goes to help fund programs that fight poverty and improve the lives of those in need in Fairfield County.”
The Near & Far Aid Spring Gala at Mitchells is always one of the most fun and original fundraising events in Fairfield County, and this year will once again be a great party. Guests will enjoy a standing dinner and festive signature cocktails and have the opportunity to preview the best of spring fashion during a live runway fashion show.
