Fairfield, CT - Ann Leffert, Assistant Superintendent and Director of Human Resources, announced the appointment of Mr. Todd Parness to the position of Athletic Director at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. Mr. Parness will begin his assignment on July 1, 2016 after the retirement of Mr. David Schulz.
Mr. Parness is currently the Physical Education and Health Department Head at Stamford High School. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education at Eastern Connecticut State University. He completed both a Master of Science degree in Education and a 6th year degree in Administration and Supervision at the University of Bridgeport. While at Stamford High School, Mr. Parness has been involved in many aspects of athletics and other committees. He is on the Board of Directors of the Athletic Council, Safety Committee Member, Intramural Sports Coordinator and the Unified Sports Coordinator. He has varied coaching experiences, including basketball, soccer, track and lacrosse.
