Fairfield, Conn. - Sensei Morgan Ewing from Kempo Academy of Martial Arts in Fairfield will explore the physical and mental preparations that an aspiring Jedi brings to weapons training. Participants will learn the beginning of the first codified light saber practice form and have the opportunity to conclude the training with a mock duel. Star Wars attire is not required, but always welcome. This was one of the most popular events at the Library’s Star Wars Reads Day celebration last December. For children in grades K-5. The group will meet on Wednesday, July 20 at 4:00 pm in the Rotary Room at Fairfield's Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road. Space is limited. Registration is required and begins Wednesday, July 13, 2016.
