Fairfield, CT -- Susan Collica Ross, 59 of Fairfield, the beloved wife of John Ross, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, October 27, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born in New Rochelle to Carl and Ann DeRosa Collica.
Susan received her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Pace University and went on to achieve a Master Degree in Education from Fairfield University. She was employed for many years at Norwalk Hospital, serving as a delivery room nurse. Susan transitioned into teaching nursing and health classes at Harding and Bassick High School where she also was the school's nurse. In her spare time, she loved to cook and always looked forward to the times spent with her sons and family.
In addition to her devoted husband and parents, Susan is survived by her loving sons, Christopher Prescott of Ponte Vedra, FL and U.S. Army Captain, Michael Prescott of Fairfield; stepson, Paul "P.J." Ross of Brooklyn; sisters, Carolann Castellano and her husband, Steven of Yonkers and Diane Collins and her husband, Pat of Orange; and nieces, Laura, Danielle, Kaitlin, Meredith and Alissa. She was preceded in death by her stepson, Brian Ross.
