Lane Closures in Stamford Area on I-95 thru Mid-January

Stamford, CT - The Connecticut Department of Transportation has announced there will be occasional lane and shoulder closures on I-95 Northbound and Southbound between Exit 8 and Exit 9 in Stamford between 7:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. over the next six weeks. Road work began November 29th. These closures are necessary to facilitate the ongoing rehabilitation of a bridge over the Metro-North Railroad tracks.
Additionally, South State Street has been closed from Lafayette Street to North State Street. South State Street Eastbound traffic has been diverted to Lafayette Street. Traffic control personnel and signage will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
