Fairfield Public School Art School Teachers' Work on Show at Art/Place Gallery, Nov. 13-27

Fairfield, CT - Art/Place Gallery invites the public to a reception for “Those Who CAN, Teach” on Sunday, November 19 from 2 to 4 pm. This is a show of artwork by 13 Fairfield Public School art teachers. These include Margaret Capron, Kristen Chase, Helen Cihi, Jill Duguid, Eric Erff, Omayra Rivera-Filardi, Michael Friedrichs, Michele Hermsen, Heather Nokta, Barbara Pollock, David Ward, Julianne Warfield and Virginia Zimmermann. The work includes a variety of sizes, themes, styles, and media. The teachers represent different schools in the system, and they welcome this opportunity to share their talent and their passion for art, both inside and outside of the classroom.

 

Art/Place is a non-profit, artist-run gallery that has been in existence for more than 40 years. It features a new show by one or two members every month, several group shows a year, and at times, work by an area group.
