
Fairfield, CT - Visit McKinley Elementary School on Saturday, December 2, 11:00am-3:00pm for its World’s Fair! This eagerly anticipated event promises a captivating exploration of diverse nations with parents, students and teachers coming together to celebrate the rich tapestry of our global and local community.
Upon arrival, attendees will receive a passport that will be stamped at each country display they visit, making it an educational and interactive experience. Admission is $5 per person, payable in cash on the day of the event. Local restaurants will be serving delectable dishes, and a wide array of baked goods, raffle baskets and vendors will be on hand, adding to the multicultural celebration. The festivities will commence at 11am with an Olympic-style opening ceremony featuring the "Parade of Nations", setting the stage for ethnic vendors, dancers and performers who will be entertaining audiences throughout the day.

The McKinley School World’s Fair is a beloved tradition, returning after a 3-year hiatus due to the pandemic. In the past, the event has attracted over 800 attendees, thanks to its diverse array of cultural experiences and entertainment. The McKinley PTA, is committed to using the proceeds from this event to fund cultural enrichment programs, educational field trips for McKinley School's diverse community, teacher grants, and other valuable in-school programs.
